Google Docs allows you to insert Word Art in the document that helps you to convey your message clearly by visualizing your text. And you can also change the formatting of your text by adding color and changing its border and font style.

Steps to Add Word Art in Google Docs
- First, go to the Insert tab on the above title bar.
- Then, hover over the cursor to the Drawing option and select New.
- Next, on the Drawing window, click on the Actions tab. Now, it will show you the list of options and then select Word Art.
- Once you click on this, the text box will appear on the screen where you can write the text of your choice.
- After that, press the Enter tab to save the text displayed as Word Art.
The interesting fact is now you can format the text as required. For example, you can change the text weight, color, and border also as there are many formatting options available on the top of the drawing window.
A variety of font designs are also there that you can choose according to your wish and highlight the text by selecting the bold and italic options.
There are some shortcuts keys to add formatting options like the ones below:
- For Bold= Ctrl + B
- For Italic= Ctrl + I
