Available Options

  1. From the first view, you can get it adds the page numbers on the top-right of the page.
  2. On the bottom first option, you will see the numbers on the right side of the bottom of the page.
  3. The option on the other side displays that the numbering of the page starts from the second page.
  4. In the last style, the page number starts from 1 at the bottom of the second page.

You can opt for any option from the last two when your document has the first page as a title page. It will be the simplest way to highlight your Title Page, as it has no number.

Last, select any option and click on it to apply to the document.

For Example, I choose the first option from the list, and it displays as:

You can be seen the page number on your page according to the style you choose.

It is interesting to share one more thing with you about this fact. After adopting a particular style, the header/footer appears on the top or bottom of the page.

On the right options drop-down menu, you have the second option of page numbers.

From there, you can set the position of the number in either the header or footer.

Even, you also have the option to “start the numbering” as you want. You just need to fill in the number in the blank and click Apply.

And the moment you click applies, the number displays on the top of the page.
