Google Docs allows you to move your text or data to the next page of the document using the page break feature. And you can also create multiple sections on the same page through the section break.

Steps to Insert a Page Break
You can add a page break where you want to end the current one and start a new page.
- First, position the cursor where you want to add a page break.
- Then, go to the Insert Tab and hover over to the Break.
- Select the Page Break.
- Now, the text after the cursor will move to the next page.
Keyboard Shortcut to Add a Page Break
Another method to insert the page break in Google Docs is keyboard shortcut keys.
- Place the cursor where you need to insert a page break.
- Then, press the Ctrl + Enter button.
Insert a Section Break in Google Docs
A section break is very similar to a page break. It has two types: Section break (next page) and Section break (continuous).
- Click on the part of the document where you want to insert a section break.
- After that, click Insert, go to the break, and select the desired option.
- When you select the Section break (next page), the next section of the text will shift to the next page of Google Docs.
- And in case you choose the Section break (continuous), it will create a new section on the same page.
Remove a Page or Section Break
The following steps allow you to remove a page and section break from the document.
- Place the cursor before the page or section breaks.
- Next, press the Backspace or Delete key from your keyboard to remove the page break.
- Alternatively, you can remove the section break using the Undo option from the Edit Tab.
